thefilmarchive.org DVD: www.amazon.com Surveillance is the monitoring of the behavior, activities, or other changing information, usually of people. It is sometimes done in a surreptitious manner. It most usually refers to observation of individuals or groups by government organizations, but disease surveillance, for example, is monitoring the progress of a disease in a community. The word surveillance is the French word for “watching over.” The word surveillance may be applied to observation from a distance by means of electronic equipment (such as CCTV cameras), or interception of electronically transmitted information (such as Internet traffic or phone calls). It may also refer to simple, relatively no- or low-technology methods such as human intelligence agents and postal interception. Surveillance is very useful to governments and law enforcement to maintain social control, recognize and monitor threats, and prevent/investigate criminal activity. With the advent of programs such as the Total Information Awareness program and ADVISE, technologies such as high speed surveillance computers and biometrics software, and laws such as the Communications Assistance For Law Enforcement Act, governments now possess an unprecedented ability to monitor the activities of their subjects. However, many civil rights and privacy groups such as the Electronic Frontier Foundation and American Civil Liberties Union have expressed concern that by allowing continual increases in …

10:00 theme from? SHAFT LOL. Looks like MI5 or Special Branch.
cool old video, today’s day and age all you need is a frequency finder to tell you the frequency the surveillance team is on and hear it on? a Good scanner,if you have the money! lol
Interesting? videoclip!
Fantastic, and hilarious,? clip. One wonders why they’ve used the theme from Star Trek around 21:27 though… Also, if this is of CIA origin, why is it a british production?
@PerHedetun
Cos’ we? nailed these techniques
yea why is? this in England?
9:41 best intro ever.?
America??
Wow. British cars from the early 70s were? pathetic. No wonder they went bankrupt!
CIA in the 70′s making surveillance films for the UK, this speaks volumes even today. The UK has more surveillance? camera than a dog has fleas,and in the past few years I have seen them go up everywhere.This use to happen in east Germany and the former USSR it was the big point of living under communism or fascism that the citizens were not free and watched by the government. Now they say we are lucky to have them watch our every move, it’s for our safety. Right, ha ha ha. Oh Shaq music too!
Now? that they can put a GPS device on your car, they don’t even have to go to any expense to keep track of just about anyone.
waste of time and money,Trust respect and freedom is the key to be successful one can be kind creative make friends with opnme another have trust work together live longer and be healthier. Is Brits any? more successful or respectful today?
how would i go about finding?? the soundtracks like these in this video?
British? intelligence gathering and techniques were superior then and maybe still are then. M -I5/6 are the best in the business, it comes from empire! It`s no suprise to me, therefore, that CIA officers were being shown this, even in 1974!
If these were not M-I5/6 guys, they may be survelinance teams from Special Branch or? Army surveliance teams from 14 Int` in Northern Ireland, though the det was not so wel established back then as a proefssional recon` and intel` unit. It`s a bloody marvelous bit of footage though, and even with modern technology, the basics as shown here will not have changed much.
Who the hell down loaded this, and how did you? get it?
@8corporal shut up we all know the? best is the KGB
